Turning creativity into power — Dutch Battalion launches a campaign where art fuels Ukrainian defense.
Campaign is over
Winston Churchill once asked, “If we sacrifice culture for war, then what are we fighting for?”
That spirit is at the heart of our new Dutch Battalion campaign: “Turning Art Into Aid.”
In this campaign, we’re transforming artistic expression into real support for Ukrainian soldiers. Every donation will help fund a new NAFO Truck 2.0 for frontline units — a vehicle that can save lives, evacuate wounded, and deliver supplies where they’re needed most.
To honor your support, donors will receive limited-edition artwork printed in Ukraine, celebrating the very culture we’re fighting to protect.
Join us — because with every sketch, every print, and every euro, we prove that art isn’t just something we defend — it’s part of how we fight back.
Ukrainian soldiers know the immense value of our NAFO trucks and buses. These vehicles are carefully selected, produced between 2010 and 2017, ensuring reliability for harsh frontline terrain. Each truck is capable of driving at least 20,000 km (12,500 miles) without major technical issues, making them a lifeline for soldiers in combat zones.
NAFO Truck 2.0 includes:
This innovation not only ensures the safety of the truck but also provides critical support for soldiers on the frontlines, boosting their effectiveness and saving lives.
In total we are looking to raise an initial 19 500 EUR in order to buy
Everyone who donates over €100 will receive a limited NAFO Ukraine made patch. They will be delivered anywhere in the world.
If you donate more than €750 you will receive the original patch from a Ukrainian unit in addition to 3 patches.
You can have your own message on the car, by donating €1500. This comes in addition to all the patches. So the truck will be driving in Donbas with your message. You will receive a photo of your message with the Ukrainian soldier. Plus, you’ll receive a special unit flag that was gifted to us by the troops.
With a donation of €2500 or more, you’ll unlock an exclusive option to add a flag and any custom image (JPG) to the truck. Whether it’s a country flag, state flag, or even a space race flag—your message will ride proudly into Ukraine. We’ll send you a thank-you video featuring your flag and image on the vehicle, alongside a Ukrainian soldier. Plus, you’ll receive a special unit flag that was gifted to us by the troops.

The North Atlantic Fella Organization (NAFO, French: Organisation des Fella de l'Atlantique nord, OFAN, a play on NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization) is an Internet meme and social media movement dedicated to countering Russian propaganda and disinformation about the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
We are a charity fund from Estonia that has been working since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. To date, we have helped deliver over €7 million in aid. By communicating directly with the units, we know exactly what types of vehicles they need. We rebuild these vehicles to ensure they are equipped with jammers, night vision cameras, new mud tires, and other necessary upgrades to withstand the frontline conditions.
